Concord, North Carolina - The City of Concord is requesting Statements of Interest from interested parties to lease aeronautical land at Concord-Padgett Regional Airport in Concord, North Carolina for the purpose of engaging in commercial or non-commercial aeronautical activities.

The City of Concord is conveniently located 25 miles northeast of Charlotte, North Carolina. The Airport encompasses approximately 750 acres of land and has one runway (Runway 02/20). There are 245 aircraft based at the Airport and general aviation aircraft operations range between 52,000 and 70,000 annually.

Over the last 5 years, the City has completed a significant number of capital improvement projects at the Airport. These projects include upgrades to the General Aviation Terminal Building, runway strengthening and new lighting systems, strengthening of taxiways and taxilanes including an apron expansion, and rehabilitation of vehicle parking areas.

The available Southern Parcel of aeronautical land is approximately 20,000 square feet located south of the General Aviation Terminal Building and west of Runway 02/20. The available Northern Parcel of aeronautical land is approximately 54,000 square feet located north of the General Aviation Terminal Building and west of Runway 2/20. All normal utilities (e.g., water, electrical, sewer, and gas) are available to the parcels. Trash and telecommunications utilities are also available. Landside access is provided to the parcels through a security gate via an Airport surface road.
