Concord-Padgett Regional Airport has met all the required steps to reach the National Air Transportation Association's Safety 1st Clean standard. The detailed and comprehensive cleaning regime and guidance have all been followed to ensure all visitors to Concord-Padgett Regional Airport are welcomed into a certified clean environment.
Since March 2020, we have been working to constantly assess, review, and improve our response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Cleaning has played a major part in the successful continued operation of our FBO. We have been following specific local guidance, as well as processes and ideas shared within the Air Elite Network. The next step for us was to seek a globally recognized, aviation specific standard.
The Safety 1st Clean standard was a very obvious choice. This standard provides a clear protocol for us to follow in order to provide a safe environment for our visiting customers and staff.
The Concord-Padgett Regional Airport is committed to safety. All aviation service workers are trained to NATA Safety 1st Standards and complete recurrent training to maintain the Safety 1st Standard. We have also received our ISBAH Stage 3 certification. ISBAH, International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling, is a certification through IBAC, International Business Aviation Council. ISBAH sets the industry standard in safety for handlers and operators. For more information about ISBAH, please visit https://ibac.org/is-bah/.
