Security

Maintaining a secure airport environment requires participation from all airport employees, tenants, contractors, airline personnel, and visitors. Vigilance and timely reporting are critical components of the airport's security program.

Security at Concord-Padgett Regional Airport requires cooperation among airlines, tenants, FBO personnel, flight schools, contractors, airport staff, law enforcement, and TSA. Everyone at the airport (visitors and employees) are asked to remain vigilant for suspicious activities and report anything to airport operations & security, police, or TSA.

While Concord-Padgett Regional Airport is classified by the FAA as a non-hub commercial service airport, all passengers departing on scheduled commercial airline service are screened in accordance with the same federal security regulations and TSA procedures used at larger commercial airports. Security requirements are established by the Transportation Security Administration and apply regardless of airport size.

All airport workers, contractors, and tenants (including their employees) are badged and vetted before they can  have unescorted access to security areas of the airport.

All vehicles requiring an escort must be inspected prior to entering the AOA or SIDA/Secure area.  Any individual that does not have an airport badge must present a valid government issued identification to be checked against the airport's current stop list prior to be let onto the AOA or SIDA/Secured area.
